T.I. Accused of Duping Former Restaurant Employees By Transferring Hundreds of Thousands To His Account

It looks like T.I.’s closed Georgia restaurant Scales 925 continues to be a problem for him.

According to The Blast, a group of his former employees filed an amended federal lawsuit against the rapper and his business partners for past wages and overtime.

The restaurant opened in 2015 but closed before the two-year mark and filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy earlier this year.

The employees said during that time, the men pocketed large amounts of money as the business was going under. They also said T.I. and his partners used the funds for their personal use while collecting huge salaries.

In February T.I. was ordered to pay the employees $78,000, but he was accused of transferring $40,000 of that money to himself instead of closing out the settlement.

In the employees’ new suit, they claim that T.I. and one of his partners, Charles Hughes, moved massive amounts of cash from their restaurant to their bank account, totaling roughly $663,933.98. The group wants all of that money turned into the court.

The suit comes on the heels of Tip’s new “Dime Trap”  album and the behind the scenes documentary about the new music.
