More of the story surrounding Tamar Braxton’s confrontation with a Delta Air Lines pilot has emerged with the singer’s sister Towanda Braxton uploading more video about it.
On Friday, July 27, Tamar was on a flight home to California after a concert the day before when a pilot confronted her and another woman.
“Here’s how this works, my flight attendants work for me. They give orders that come from me, OK? And so if you get an instruction from a flight attendant, I need to know that you are willing and able to do what you are told to do,” the pilot tells Tamar in the clip her sister uploaded on Instagram Saturday.“Are you willing and able to do what you’re told to do by a flight attendant? Don’t ask me any questions. Answer yes or no.”

Towanda blasted the airline for the way it treated her sister, who was confronted for having a blanket over her head. Now, the airline has issued a public statement on the matter to Fox News.
“It’s crucial for the safety of every flight for customers to be willing and able to follow crew instructions. When these customers exhibited some unusual behavior and refused to acknowledge our flight attendant’s instructions, the captain addressed them directly to ensure the safety and security of the entire flight,” the airline said.
It is now reviewing reports and investigating allegations of discrimination.
Since then, Towanda has uploaded two more clips about the incident onto her IGTV page. In one, a woman who seems to be a member of Tamar’s team tells a flight attendant that the whole uproar was her fault. She had been trying to get her flight switched and was leaving the plane per instructions from her travel agent, keeping her bag with Braxton. Then, a flight attendant told her she needed to take her bag with her. The woman decided to stay on the plane and thought that was the end of it. Then, the flight attendant told Tamar to remove her blanket, that covered her head, and “started talking to her like she was inebriated.”
Afterward, the captain showed up and the now-viral confrontation ensued.
“I want to file a police report for what you saw,” the woman says. “I can’t believe he literally accosted me like that. Especially when I’m so far away. Like, he’s way up there, and you put your bag down, come back loosen up your tie like we finna fight in the hallway?”
Off camera, Tamar appears to add that the pilot said he thought she was on drugs.
The woman also explained the pilot got so close to her that she could smell his cologne and thought he was going to fight her.
“Nobody should have ever talked to [Tamar] on the plane when I was the one trying to get a flight to somewhere else,” she said, backing up the star’s remark about the pilot believing she was stoned.
She also said the pilot demanded her to stop recording.
The two continued to argue before the duo ultimately got off the plane, where they relayed their story to a flight attendant.
Meanwhile, fans have continued to sound off on the matter.
