Monique Samuels was hoping to hold off a little longer on sharing the news that she’s pregnant with her young children, but “The Real Housewives of Potomac” star let the secret spill recently.

When Christopher was asked about learning Samuels was having another baby and that it was no longer going to be just him and his younger sister he said, “I’m excited! I want a brother.”
Between giggles — and a little too much play that caused Samuels and her husband, Chris Samuels, to tell their kids to straighten up or they’ll go to bed — Milani said she’d be happy to have a younger sibling, which she hopes will be a sister. She even agreed to help care for the baby and “feed it with milk.”
Last month, Samuels, who is five months into her pregnancy, told Bravo’s The Daily Dish she’d rather let the kids know about their sibling later in her term.
“We haven’t told Christopher and Milani yet as we would like to wait until we’re a little further along,” she said. “Kids tend to be a little impatient and I would rather them know when it’s almost time.”
Her caution stemmed from the fact that she had a miscarriage last year, which she said, “taught me not to take things for granted and to think that I’m so special that something like that can’t happen to me.”
