Kandi Burruss Praises Daughter Riley for ‘Stepping Out of Her Shell’ at Stanford Summer Program

The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss is fresh off of praising daughter Riley Burruss for her newly slim figure and now, she’s applauding her daughter for an intellectual accomplishment.

Burruss shared that her 15-year-old daughter is currently enrolled in Standford Law School’s Envision Intensive Law & Trial program.

“I’m so proud of my baby @rileyburruss! She’s headed to the 11th grade but this summer she is at #Stanford for the #EnvisionLawAndTrial program,” Burruss wrote Tuesday, July 10. “I was worried about her being by herself but she’s doing pretty good! My #futurelawyer! She’s stepping out of her shell lately.”

The program offers high schoolers the chance to get a sneak peek into the profession of law as well as insight into its study, according to the program’s website. Students will have the chance to prepare and argue their own cases over the course of four sessions. Riley is likely wrapping up the one running from July 3-12, 2018, which her mom dropped her off at a week ago.

Followers of the RHOA star have praised Riley’s accomplishment.

This is only the latest time Burruss’ IG followers have praised the singer’s teenager. When Burruss revealed Riley’s 52-pound weight loss, social media users were stunned.

“I’m so proud of my baby @rileyburruss! Last year (around September I think) Riley decided to get serious about being fit. With the help of her trainer @iamthekingoffitness she’s lost 52lbs!!!! & she did it the right way by working out 5 days a week & watching her calorie intake,” Burruss said in part at the time.
