In the latest case of “call the police on Black people,”Ā  a white neighbor called the police on a Black tenant smoking a cigarette outside in the parking garage.

Stacy Etheridge ofĀ Wellington Manor, Georgia, shared a Facebook video on her page Sunday that her daughter (unidentified) recorded. The footage shows a white woman approaching her Etheridge’s daughter about smoking a cigarette in the parking garage of her Buckhead apartment.

“Caucasian woman tells my daughter to put her cigarette out and decides to call the police on my daughter for smoking outside in a parking deck,” Etheridge stated. “Police showed up and said it was no harm to othersā€¦ this calling the cops on Blacks is getting way out of hand. Now you canā€™t smoke outside. #NewportNancy.”

The video also shows Etheridge’s daughter comments to the woman, “You said I canā€™t smoke here? Youā€™re gonna have me kicked out? Thatā€™s what you said?”

The white woman responded and threatened to call the property management on the Black resident and said they’ll “have you evicted for smoking on the property.” She then proceeded to slam her car door right after Etheridge’s daughter asked, “Are you racist? Because I think you are. You just came out here harassing me for no reason.”

The mobile video shows the woman in green speaking on the phone in her car, but it’s uncertain as to who she was conversing with. Before the camera cut off you faintly heard the woman say, “Thereā€™s a resident here, who claims she lives hereā€¦”

Etheridge confirmed that the woman did indeed call the police and they told her that no harm to others was being committed. The mother added, “This calling the cops on Blacks is getting way out of hand. Now you can’t smoke outside. #NewportNancy”

Social media has always chimed in on the incident and feel that white people calling the police on Blacks is becoming ridiculous.
