VH1 debuted an image of Season 5 “Love and Hip Hop Hollywood” cast-members and fans were disappointed to find out some of their favorites were not making an appearance on the show.
The cast-mates featured in the photo are singer Ray J and his wife Princess Love, artist Teairra Marí, Lyrica Anderson and her husband A1, K. Michelle, Miss Nikki Baby, Moniece Slaughter and Brooke Valentine. However, fans noticed that Masika Kalysha and few others were missing from the picture.
There’s been continuous speculation on whether Kalysha would return back to the reality show after last season’s prolonged beef with Alexis Skyy. The mother of one threatened to quit the show if VH1 placed Skyy in the same room as her.
Fans asked, “Where’s Masika?”
“Now y’all know we need Masika for those ratings 😩 she be getting me mad sometimes but i love her 🙄 bring her backkkkkk,” one fan wrote.
“Ok if [Masika Kalysha] isn’t on this season I’m not watching anymore. Don’t no how i feel about this season now if Sika isn’t on it,” another fan wrote.
It turns out the 33-year-old did not renew her contract for LHHH and said “she’s ecstatic” according to the Jasmine Brand. The news source reported that Kalysha will not be appearing on Season 5 in February, but the reality star herself has neither confirmed or denied the report.
Others have also asked about “Hasta La Vista” rapper Hazel E. However, VH1 dropped the reality star in October 2017 due to her allegedly infuriating the producers and film crew during the reunion taping, TMZ reported. Mona Scott and other staff members claimed her firing had nothing to do with her anti-gay rant or colorism remarks on social media.
K. Michelle recently revealed she quit ‘LHHH’ because of the way they tried to promote her “botched” body and that “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” producers are sloppy and are “loose [sic] the truth” with their “reaching,”, Rolling Out reported.
The premiere of “Love and Hip Hop Hollywood” Season 5 will appear on VH1 on July 23rd at 8.pm.
