Lil Scrappy Continues to Heal from Car Accident As He Drops New Music with Stevie J

Although rapper Lil Scrappy was injured in a nasty car accident on June 4. with his friend Casino Roulette in Miami, the hip-hop artist is back on the music scene with music producer Stevie J.

The pair released the new track “MJ” which was musically produced by the “good guy” himself. The single is dedicated to the legendary Michael Jackson with rap verses and punchlines with live instrumentals blasting in the background.

“Moonwalk, like I’m MJ/White glove, are you OK/Lean on ’em like I’m MJ/No drip drop with the Moët,” Lil Scrappy recites in his first verse.

The rapper collaborated with Stevie J for his new album “Grown” which is entirely produced by the record producer. Both of the “LHHATL” stars wanted to focus primarily on making “great music” without any “distractions.”

“You won’t hear a reference to ‘Love and Hip Hop Atlanta’… It’s important to me to give the fans what they’ve been waiting for and this project takes me back to my core,” said Lil Scrappy in a press release.

The album is still pending and there’s no set date when the complete album will drop. However, Scrappy is still trying to take it easy and recovery from the car crash.

The “No Problem” rapper took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a photo of his broken leg which is still healing. He wrote, “Just havin a lil lizunch, with the wife.”

The rapper and his friend Casino Roulette were driving down a highway in Miami when the two crashed into a utility pole. Lil Scrappy allegedly fell asleep behind the wheel but claimed he doesn’t remember. His friend Roulette recently filed a lawsuit against him according to TMZ. He’s demanding the “Head Bussa” artist to pay for his medical bills.
