Megachurch Pastor Creflo Dollar Rebukes Congregation for Criticizing Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg has been receiving flack for his gospel album “Bible of Love” that landed on the number 1 spot on Billboard’s Top Gospel Album. However, he does have a huge supporter in his corner, founder of megachurch World Changers Church International, Creflo Dollar.

Snoop Dogg’s debut gospel album featured big gospel artists like Kim Burrell, The Clark Sisters, Tye Tribbett, Marvin Sapp and many more. Despite the album topping the charts, displeased fans said, “Snoop is so confused. One day he crippin’, next day a Rasta, then a Muslim in the Nation of Islam. Any gimmick to get ya’ll to buy his music..”

The rapper responded to the critics and said, “I thought church was supposed to welcome sinners. If the church was full of saints it wouldn’t be right. So if you finding somebody trying to find their way back home, the natural thing to do is be warm and welcoming..”

Now Dollar is asking his congregation to give Snoop some support. He stated, “Recently, a man in California, he’s a rapper, in fact, he’s known as a legend, they call him, I think his nickname is Snoop Dogg. He just released a gospel album to minister to people ‘cause his grandmamma ministered to him and he had it on the inside of him. Isn’t it sad that he received rejection and flak and ‘how y’all gon’ support somebody like this after what they did and what they said?’ What’s wrong with us?”
