Grammy Award winner Jay-Z opened up about being a father and husband on “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction” with David Letterman. He shared what he considered “the most beautiful thing” his daughter Blue Ivy ever told him.
In the interview, the rap mogul recounted a day he took Blue to school. “I told her to get in the car the other day because she was asking a thousand questions and we had to leave for school…I just heard a little voice, ‘Dad, I didn’t like the way you told me to get in the car the way you told me’— she’s six — ‘It hurt my feelings.’ The rapper responded back to his daughter with a smile, “That was the most beautiful thing you’ve ever said to me.” Letterman and the crowd laughed.
