Tekashi 6ix9ine Tries to Come for Charlamagne in Heated ‘Breakfast Club’ Interview

The self-proclaimed “King of New York” rapper dropped in on the “Breakfast Club” and gave Charlamagne tha God a run for his money.

The internet went crazy after Charlamagne and Tekashi69 took continuous jabs at one another in a shindig of verbal sparring.

The 21-year-old rapper jumped right into the interview refusing to address DJ Envy’s question about his stage name. Things quickly went left after Tekashi claimed to be the “hottest [artist] in the city.” Charlamagne corrected him with no hesitation, “No you’re not… Cardi B is.” The Breakfast Club host refused to let 6ix9ine claim the title of New York without a proper fight.

The exchange between the two continued when Charlamagne pressed the rapper about his gang relation and his current beef with other hip-hop artists including “The Game”.

The feud involving Game and Tekashi began after his “King of New York” statement, contending 6ix9ine’s gangsta and blood status by serving multiple diss posts on social media. The Game referred to the rapper as a “fake-a** Blood” and led a crowd to chant “F**k 69.” The “Kuddo” rapper posted on Instagram and responded, “I TURNED ‘GANGSTERS’ INTO CLOUT CHASERS.”

Tekashi told the Breakfast Club casts, “This man is 40… Why he not taking care of his kids?” the rapper asked. “He worried about the wrong things… His career– it’s over brah.”

6ix9ine demanded the hosts put some respect on his name and said “obviously whatever” he’s “doing is working.” Charlamagne stopped the rapper in his tracks and told him that beef isn’t the way to gain notoriety. The “Rondo” artists shutdown the award-winning author.

“Listen you don’t got no Billboard records… To be honest if it wasn’t for this I wouldn’t of never heard of you,” Tekashi told the host. Charlamagne responded with his list of accolades, “I got a national syndicated radio show, I got a New York Times best-selling book, I got movies,” he responded.

The verbal sparring proceeded when the radio personality asked, “You took your GED test yet?”

People had a field day with the interview and posted their reactions on social media. One Instagram user wrote:
