Sterling K. Brown’s role in Black Panther was small but a very integral part of the film. Brown stopped by ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’ and discussed how being in the movie, “almost didn’t happen”.
The Golden Globe-winning star spoke briefly about how he had to be secretive about his character in the movie. He said, “I didn’t want to talk too much about it because my character, in particular, was sort of a spoiler.”
Brown then discussed how his role “almost didn’t happen.” He said, “I was shooting ‘This Us’ the same time as ‘Black Panther.’ The producers had to work together. I was shooting the Memphis scene in ‘This Is Us’ and I had to run over and do ‘Black Panther’ it was crazy… It’s movie history I’m so proud.”
