Maxwell is feeling “Black Panther” star Danai Gurira so much that not even a bald head can detract from her beauty.
“The woman I would want to wine and dine from the film is Danai Gurira, but she might be taken,” he told Page Six Tuesday, Feb. 13 at the Marvel film’s New York premiere. “I used to watch her on ‘The Walking Dead,’ so I do have a bit of an obsession with her — and we share the same barber, by the way, so it could actually work out.”
Gurira stars as Okoye, the general of the Dora Milaje, which protects T’Challa/Black Panther. She’s also known for her portrayal of Michonne, on “The Walking Dead.”
“Danai is so badass,” Maxwell said after noting a bald woman isn’t an issue. “I have not seen the movie, so I am walking in blank. I am just happy that there is a movie celebrating our culture.”
Gurira hasn’t responded to Maxwell’s public proposition but at least one person on Twitter isn’t a fan of the idea of the pair going to dinner.
