The premiere of “Black Panther” hits theaters tonight and co-stars Lupita Nyong’o & Letitia Wright are living up to the hype with a lit freestyle about the film.
“The Black Panther lives… and so does Troublemaker! Introducing MC Underbite (Letitia Wright), best freestyler in Wakanda,” Nyong’o shared on Instagram Friday with the video. “All cred to my girl @robynhoodmusic for my bars tho. Happy #BlackPantherDay!”
The duo are in a sleek car and as soon as the beat drops, Nyong’o catches the beat for a minute, “I feel some bars coming,” she says.
“Yo yo check it, it’s Troublemaker back on the scene ‘Marvel’ baby stay getting the green… Underbite on the mic and Robinhood”, the Queen of Katwe” actress rapped before the video cuts to actress Wright.
In the film “Black Panther” Nyong’o plays Nakia, a member of the Dora Milaje chosen to become the personal guards of Wakanda and Wright plays T’Challa’s (Chadwick Boseman) younger sister.
