You’ve likely heard of a prenuptial agreement but a post-nuptial one? Tiny and T.I. might be introducing you to something new.
The couple has called off their separation and is gearing up for a vow renewal ceremony, according to Hollywood Life. But a source tells the website Tiny, who recently embarked on a tour with her girl group Xscape, wants to ensure she gets more money from Tip now that he’s the breadwinner — a change from when the pair married eight years ago.
“There are a few things holding up T.I. and Tiny’s romantic vow renewal ceremony,” said an insider of the couple who is reportedly closer than ever. “Before Tiny walks down any aisle again, or agrees to have more children with T.I., Tiny wants him to agree to a new post-nup agreement. Even though Tiny has been doing quite well for herself lately, she wants to secure her future.”
Such an agreement is similar to one a couple may sign before getting married and makes sure to square up how assets will be divided in the case of a divorce, according to Legal Nature.
“Tiny wants an updated agreement, in writing, that T.I. will be more than generous with her and all of their present and possible future children,” the source claimed. “Tiny is still in love with T.I. but she is also a smart businesswoman who knows how to handle T.I.’s rocky behavior. She has been talking things over with her personal attorneys, drafting the perfect contract for their unique situation and Tiny plans on making T.I. sign it before they say any vows again.”
