While many people have been applauding Oprah Winfrey for her moving speech at the Golden Globes, Seal pointed out her hypocrisy. The “Kiss From a Rose” singer posted a meme on Instagram Wednesday, Jan. 10 claiming that Winfrey was “part of the problem.”
“Oh I forgot, that’s right,” Seal wrote in the caption. “You’d heard the rumors but you had no idea he was actually serially assaulting young starry-eyed actresses who in turn had no idea what they were getting into. My bad.”

At the Golden Globes, Winfrey gave a rousing speech in support of women and denouncing sexual assault in the industry.
“For too long, women have not been heard or believed if they dare speak the truth to the power of those men,” she said Sunday, Jan. 8 as she accepted the lifetime achievement award. “But their time is up. Their time is up! Their time is up!”
She also spoke out about Weinstein’s sexual harassment allegations on Facebook in October.
“Thanks to the brave voices we’ve heard this week, many more will now be emboldened to come forward EVERY time this happens,” she said. “I believe a shift is coming.”
