Kodak Black Isn’t a Fan of Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Yachty, Separates Self from ‘Other N—–‘

Kodak Black is boldly separating himself from his fellow young competitors in the rap game by declaring they don’t have s— on him career-wise.

“I got some new albums coming out. I am not like these other niggas,” he says on Instagram Live Thursday, Aug. 10, before dropping bars about Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Yachty. “I don’t even listen to Uzi, these n—– d— in the booty, they confusing the community… I don’t even listen to Yachty, he don’t even be dropping no knowledge.”

Kodak added he “ain’t dissin’ I got my own following,” but seemed to be taking aim at Uzi’s penchant for donning gender non-conforming clothing. In May, Uzi was mocked — and unbothered — when an image surfaced of the rapper wearing a unisex striped shirt, pink handbag, and a spiked choker.

As for what could have spurred Kodak’s remarks on Yachty, there’s this possible explanation. The red-haired rapper declared he was just “having fun” with his career while “Everyday Struggle” co-host Joe Budden was fuming over his lack of financial literacy.
