Big Sean is giving back in a major way by issuing a $15,000 donation to support financially strapped college students in his hometown of Detroit.
HIGH is a program established in 2013 to support WSU students with resources such as housing, child care, clothing, textbooks and other materials so they don’t have to stress about having the finances to graduate.
“The HIGH Program, through its support and encouragement offered to students, is making a difference in their lives,” Myra Anderson, SAF executive director and Sean’s mother, said in a statement. “We are excited to offer our support through the foundation.”
SAF’s donation continues the organization’s support of HIGH that began in 2016 with a $25,000 grant to the four-year-old program.
