Bow Wow’s Failed Attempt at Flexing Turns Into Hilarious #BowWowChallenge

Bow Wow‘s seemingly lavish travel accommodations were no match for the Twitter sleuths who exposed him for appearing to take a commercial flight instead and others swiftly took advantage by launching the #BowWowChallenge.

Bow, whose real name is Shad Moss, shared a Monday, May 8, Instagram post that implied he was preparing to fly in a private jet to New York City to promote the We TV reality show, “Growing Up Hip-Hop Atlanta.”

But a Twitter user called out the actor and former rapper for being a poseur and posted an image of him on a commercial flight — in coach.

Another user traced the private jet image to a stock photo that appears in distorted form in the page header of a Fort Lauderdale VIP transportation service website.

Bow Wow attempted to clean up the failed post by saying someone posted an old image of him on an airplane to make him out to be a fraud. It is not clear when the image actually was taken.

“Half y’all broke [m—–f—–] still can’t afford a buddy pass on Spirit Airlines,” he wrote in a comment. “Stay out the big boy lane.”

But the entertainer couldn’t sweep the issue under the rug well enough to stop Twitter from mocking him with the #BowWowChallenge.

Several users shared images pretending to be extravagant but instead being well within the norm.
