Sean Hannity Says No Conservatives Ever Criticized Michelle, Malia or Sasha Obama

Conservative radio host Sean Hannity absurdly claimed Michelle, Malia and Sasha Obama were never criticized in the White House, ignoring the years of bullying they endured.

On the “Sean Hannity Show” Thursday, March 3, the host denounced a remark by Black Democrat Rep. Cedric Richmond. Regarding White House counselor Kellyanne Conway kneeling on the couch of the Oval Office during President Donald Trump’s meeting with historically Black college leaders, Richmond joked that she “looked kind of familiar … in that position.” Hannity wondered about the insanity that would ensue if a Republican picked on a Democrat the way Richmond did to Conway.

“Can you imagine if anyone … would ever say that about Hillary [Clinton?] Or Michelle Obama?” he said. “What would the reaction be?”

“Nobody picked on Malia and Sasha, no conservative that I know of,” Hannity said. “Nobody picked on Michelle Obama except for the stupid statements, ‘for the first time in my adult life I’m proud of my country.’ She inserted herself into the campaign. If she’s going to say something like that then she deserves to be criticized.”

In reality, all of the Obama women have been targets of judgment online and off. In December, Trump’s New York presidential campaign co-chair Carl Paladino remained unapologetic about saying he hoped Michelle Obama would “return to being a male and let loose in the outback of Zimbabwe.”

Racist online trolls also went after Malia Obama and Sasha Obama for the former attending Harvard University and the latter for celebrating her 15th birthday.
