Never Before Seen Footage Shows a Young Obama Commenting on Racism in Kenya

In 1990, a young Barack Obama comments on racial inequality during a trip to Kenya. The footage, discovered by crowdfunding platform WeSearchr, was provided exclusively to Alex Jones’ Info Wars.

At the 14:40 mark, the interview focuses on some racial issues Obama faced while visiting the nation of his father. He retells an instance where his sister took him to a restaurant where he experienced the racial inequality first hand. Obama says he saw whites being served before Black costumers.

“I’m deeply saddened by a sense that whites are still superior in this country,” he starts. “In some sense, that if you sit at a restaurant, they’re served before a Kenyan is served. If you go through customs, a white person is going to have an easier time going through customs … When you look around at Kenya everything looks very tranquil, but things can explode at any point. Because you have all of these young people that are now coming from the countryside … who are going to school. [They] have high expectations … That’s a dangerous situation when you have high expectations.”

Obama adds that Kenya has the potential to be a strong Black nation. And if it that happens, Black Americans will be inspired by its example.
