On the Aug. 29 edition of FOX News’ “Fox & Friends,” former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani critiques Beyoncé’s 2016 Video Music Awards performance.

During the performance, Beyoncé’s dancers — dressed as angels — were shot down by officers on stage.

The former mayor believes Beyoncé’s performance last night was a slight against police.

In the clip, Giuliani reminds viewers that he cleaned up New York City during his time as mayor.

“I ran the largest and best police department in the world, the New York City Police Department,” Giuliani states. “I saved more black lives than any of those people you saw on stage.”

He implies that the entertainer has real influence and can lead people astray with a performance that is “anti-cop.”
