Chilli Addresses Twitter Threat from Pebbles’ Daughter After TLC Biopic

TLC biopic drama It’s been over a week since Pebbles Reid’s daughter seemed to threaten Chilli on Twitter and the TLC star is finally responding to the madness involving Pebbles and her daughter Ashley Reid.

Ashley added to the drama surrounding the TLC biopic by sending what seemed to be a threat to Chilli on Twitter, but the songstress doesn’t seem to be too concerned with the social media drama.

“You know what? I don’t know,” Chilli told The Jasmine Brand when asked about the alleged threat. “To be honest with you, I’ve been so caught up in thanking God with the blessings; with the success of this film. All the other stuff or half of the stuff that I don’t see – I’ll hear about it like from you or someone’s going to say something to me.”

She went on to throw a little shade back at Pebbles when she explained that the biopic showed TLC’s relationship with Pebbles – not her daughter.

“We just felt we put our relationship with her, because that’s who we had the relationships with, that’s who we had those experiences with, was Pebbles; not her children,” she added.

TLC biopic CrazySexyCoolShe did, however, admit that she has always “had love for” Pebbles’ children and she basically watched them grown up. But that also means Ashley was much too young to even comprehend her mother’s shady business.

“There were little so they weren’t even able to comprehend what was going on between us and their mom because they were children,” Chilli said. “So I don’t know.”

At the end of the day Chilli said she wishes all of Pebbles’ children well and she isn’t interested in starting drama with them because they weren’t the ones who were involved in what happened.

The threat was tweeted at Chilli after the TLC biopic “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story” retold the story of Pebbles stealing money from the singing trio.

Needless to say, Pebbles wasn’t too happy about her characterization in the film and her daughter was quick to jump in.

“I cannot WAIT to see you around honey,” Ashley tweeted to Chilli on Oct. 21.

The Twitter threat was only one of the many tweets that certainly won’t help Pebbles’ case as she moves forward trying to sue TLC for slander.

When one Twitter user accused Pebbles of being a thief, Ashley responded with a tweet accusing the user of being on welfare.

“My mom was a thief?’ Ashley tweeted. “All the money my taxes have paid for your welfare, and you got the nerve to point fingers? Sheesh!”

Considering Pebbles’ desire to take legal action against TLC and her daughter’s hateful Twitter rants, it doesn’t seem like the TLC biopic drama is going away any time soon.
