Peep This: New Nokia 2520 Tablet

nokia-lumia-2520Nokia has been an innovative company over the years when it comes to hardware. One area that it didn’t always excel in is creating game changing software to match its hardware. This is why a partnership with Microsoft made sense, especially since, Microsoft has never been good at hardware. Of course, now that Microsoft has acquired Nokia, the marriage between the two companies is official and the public is beginning to see new hardware. The Nokia Lumia 2520 is the first Windows Nokia tablet to hit the market. According to theverge.com:

“Nokia has opted for a 10.1-inch display on its Lumia 2520 with a body that’s styled just like a Lumia Windows Phone. It looks beautiful in red, white, cyan, and black. The easiest way to describe this device is just to imagine a rounded Lumia like the 720 and then increase it in size to 10 inches. It really takes Nokia’s design language and places it almost perfectly into a tablet form factor. The 1920 x 1080 display is perhaps one of the best I’ve seen on a tablet. Viewing angles are great and the brightness is equally impressive. Color reproduction is incredibly accurate, and it’s clear Nokia has really aimed high with the display on its first tablet.”

The Nokia Lumia 2520 may not make a major dent in terms of market share amongst the iPad and top of the line Android tablets. However, it does give people who want to keep all their devices in the Windows ecosystem a viable option over Microsoft’s Surface devices.
