Michelle Williams, Keyshia Cole Kiss and Make up After Twitter Beef

Keyshia Cole ignited an e-beef with former Destiny’s Child star Michelle Williams after tweeting disparaging remarks following Williams’ Superbowl performance. The “Trust and Believe” singer tweeted at the time:

“I think I was frightened to blink for a sec. Then Michell sung and woke my a** up from my daze! She always f*** the groove up”

Cole insisted the stinging tweet was payback for Williams who allegedly tweeted negative remarks after her Ron Isley Tribute at the Soul Train Music Awards back in November 2012.

Fast forward to early September, and Williams is adamant she sent no such tweet but is more than willing to talk things out with Cole.

“I don’t even do Twitter beef. I can’t wait to see [Keyshia Cole] in person so we can talk and say ‘Hey, what happened?’ I will say this, I was a major fan of hers. That’s my first time even saying that. She was somebody I was rooting for, because I could understand where she was coming. It’s all good, people make mistakes, I don’t hold that against nobody, I wish everybody the best. I want everybody to win!”

Cole took Williams up on her offer and the R&B singers hashed things out and  shared the results on Twitter.

Cole tweeted first:

“@realmichellew I apologize for the mean things I said, it hurt me when I went to your page and saw what u said during my performance. And that still doesn’t make it ok. I said what I said out of anger. And that’s the absolute WRONG time to say things. So can u admit to erasing the tweet that was said about me? So people know that anger came from a hurt place not a malicious place?”

Williams added:

“Apology accepted @KeyshiaCole! We had an amazing conversation and I also say sorry for ANY misunderstandings! I’m so happy this happened!”
