Fox Sports 1 has an upcoming series of episodes that chronicle the life of former heavyweight champion boxer, Mike Tyson. Leading up to the September air date, the network has released promotional footage that puts Tyson in the same room as Evander Holyfield to discuss the infamous ear bite that occurred in the ring over 16 years ago.
In the footage, Holyfield giddily recounts the moment to Tyson, and judging by his friendly disposition he must have totally forgiven his one-time bitter rival and probably the most controversial boxer at the time.
Speaking of time, it really can heal all wounds.
To see the two former fighters, who have reportedly reconciled and become friends, laugh off the incident as if it were not a big deal was remarkable, especially after Holyfield revealed that his plan for revenge was to kick Tyson in the groin.
The six-part series on Tyson’s life debuts on Fox at 4 p.m. ET on Sept. 22. It moves to Fox Sports 1 on Sept. 24 at 10:30 p.m. ET, where it will stay for its run. Check out the footage below.
