Kanye West Best VMA Performances

Kanye West has a well-known love-hate relationship when it comes to the VMAs. Yet no matter how many times Kanye flies off the hook and says he’s never performing at this award show, he always seems to make it back to the stage. West was confirmed last week as a performer at the 2013 MTV VMA show airing on August 25. Let’s take a look back at Kanye’s top performances.

At the 2004 VMAs, Kanye West makes his debut on the MTV stage. He performs a medley of songs including ‘Jesus Walks‘, ‘All Falls Down,’ and ‘Through The Wire.’ It was a performance full of cameos as Syleena Johnson, John Legend and, most notably, Chaka Khan came out to make West’s night legendary.
