Paula Patton upped the sexy on the red carpet last evening at the premiere of her latest action flick, “2 Guns” in New York City at the School of Visual Arts Theatre.
Joined by her R&B singer husband Robin Thicke, the “Mission Impossible” star wore a gorgeous low-cut black and white embroidery Basil Soda dress, with a mid-thigh slit in the front and sheer panels in the back.
In contrast, Pauletta Washington, Denzel’s wife opted for an understated yet chic look in a pink sheath dress. Denzel was perhaps the most underdressed of the night in a black t-shirt and black denim pants. His co-star Mark Walhberg was stylish in a gray suit.
Walhberg spoke to the The Canadian Press recently about what differentiates “2 Guns” from other action films:
“This is a very different kind of action movie,” he said. “It balances the humor and the emotional aspect, (it has) different twists and turns, and most important, (it has) two very formidable opponents. You get a guy like me and Denzel going at it, it’s not something you usually get to see. And not many people are really up for the challenge of going at Denzel in that way. But we both were into the idea of trying something different and trying to make it fresh.”
