Lesson Learned: Jason Kidd Gets 1st Technical Foul in Summer League Game

“I deserved the T,” Jason Kidd declared, after the former basketball player turned head coach walked onto the court to argue with the referee.

Kidd, the new Brooklyn Nets head coach, made a rookie mistake during a Summer League game when he marched out of the coaching box and was punished immediately.

“I’ve seen some of these coaches be all the way down on the other end, so I can’t follow their lead in that aspect,” said Kidd,  “I learned real quickly where the box is.”
