Transformers 4 production is moving steadily to its first day of shooting and Michael Bay is getting a jump on promotion even before camera are rolling. First, Bay made an announcement, via his website, that there will be a redesign of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, now the famed director is showing off a new transformer for the film.
The new robot is a slick 2013 black lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Coupe. Take a look at this sweet ride in the photo above.
The specs on the actual car include, a carbon fiber monocuque with aluminum front and rear frame, a V12 700 horsepower engine with a 7 speed ISR drivetrain.
I’m sure Bay will make use of those features in the film.
New on the cast list is Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Jack Raynor, Nicola Peltz, Kelsey Grammer and Sophia Myles. With the exception of Raynor, who is replacing Shila LaBeouf, who do you think is going to be the voice of the Lamborhini Aventador?
Transformers 4 is scheduled to hit theaters June 27 2014.
