After taking a few weeks hiatus, Revenge season 2 will return tonight with its episode 13 titled “Union.” A spoiler has been released for the upcoming show and by the looks of it, Aiden Mathis and Emily Thorne may be parting ways forever.
In the sneak peek video of the upcoming show, the couple goes back and forth saying,
“I’m sorry if I’m not as cold and calculated as you. I can’t just turn my feelings on and off with the flick of a switch,” he spits.
“Is that what you think? That I don’t feel?” she asks. “That I don’t miss my father every single day? That I don’t mourn the life that I could have had? But that’s why people like you and me fight. I thought you understood that. I thought we shared that. We can do this together, Aiden. Don’t go. Aiden, don’t leave me alone in this.”
The undercover lovers appear to be at the end of a downward spiral, in result of Aiden blaming The Initiative for his sister’s murder. Thus, he’s taking his sadness out on Emily, and decides to continue on without her.
Some may say Aiden is acting like a jerk, some may not, but will he come back for Emily or will he leave her for good?
