Gisele Baby Photo – Gisele Bündchen showed off first pictures of her and Tom Brady’s daughter via Facebook. The shot was taken as the couple enjoyed family time in Hawaii. The two month old, Vivian Lake, was featured on her mother’s Facebook page with a caption that read, ‘Love is everything. Happy Friday, much love to all.”
Brady’s wife keeps her fans included in her life via the popular social networking site. After the birth of Vivian Lake, Gisele posted this to her Facebook wall: “We feel so lucky to have been able to experience the miracle of birth once again and are forever grateful for the opportunity to be the parents of another little angel.”
The couple had their first child, Benjamin, a few years ago. The New England Patriots quarterback has another son, John Edward who is called Jack for short, with ex girlfriend Bridget Monyahan. There was a bit of controversy over the timing of Gisele and Tom’s initial coupling, as Monyahan was still pregnant with Brady’s first child. Bridget and Tom has split before the ‘Blue Bloods’ star found out she was pregnant. Facing the prospect of single motherhood was overwhelming, even for successful ex-model turn actress. Still, Monyahan never bashed Gisele or Tom in public, despite being prodded by reporters repeatedly during interviews.
Finally in 2011, the single mom opened up about her parenting situation with the Brady’s. “I never made a comment about Gisele or Tom publicly. I have a relationship with these people on a daily basis. I’m raising a child, and it’s public … My son has two loving parents and an extended family, whether it’s cousins or stepmothers or boyfriends. My son is surrounded by love.”
While Monayhan might be more reserved in the public, Bündchen is a bit more outspoken. The fiery Brazilian model stirred controversy after the New England Patriots loss to the New York Giants in Super Bowl 46. Giants fans taunted the supermodel and she definitely fired back, saying: “You are supposed to catch the ball when you’re supposed to catch the ball,” Gisele said. “My husband cannot f-king throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time.” As in poor taste as the comment was, she had a point and many lauded her for supporting her man after a rough loss.
With the addition of Vivian Lake, Gisele and Tom have two biological children together; but let the highest paid supermodel tell it, little Jack is all hers. In an interview with Vanity Fair in 2009, Gisele told the magazine that, “I understand that he has a mom, and I respect that, but to me it’s not like because somebody else delivered him, that’s not my child,” Bündchen told the magazine. “I feel like it is, 100 percent.” Jack’s biological mother Bridget was none-too-pleased with that statement.
In the year’s since that statement, the women in Brady’s life have made peace with each other; for the sake of their blended family. Congratulations to Gisele and Tom on their beautiful newest edition.
