New 'Jack The Giant Slayer' Posters Revealed

Warner Bros. Pictures recently released five new posters for the modern day fairy tale, Jack the Giant Slayer, through Twitter. With the March 1, 2013 release quickly approaching, Jack the Giant Slayer is starting to promote their highly action packed film even more now that the date is no longer shifting, but definitely permanent.

If you’re wanting to relive your favorite childhood fairytale, Jack and the Beanstalk, then you’re out of luck. However, if you just want to watch a story where the hero is named Jack, then look no further. Jack the Giant Slayer, focuses on a young farmhand, Jack, who unwittingly opens a gateway between our world and the land of the frightening giants.  For the first time in centuries, giants have been unleashed into our world and they’re fighting to reclaim the land they once lost to the humans.  Jack gets caught up in not only the battle for his life and land, but also the rescue of the princess he loves.  Battling the unstoppable warriors he thought only existed in legends, Jack now has a chance to become a legend himself. But, will this modern day fairytale end well like so many others, or will the giants finally win the epic battle against humans?

So, if you’re ready to snag a first-look at the stars of the show, just remind yourself that they’re giants, not cavemen- I know the two species are sometimes interchangeable.

So, was it the sprouting facial hair, bulging wrinkles, or overall lack of cleanliness that will make you jump at the chance to see these fascinating creatures on the big screen? Personally, I am intrigued by the giants, but in the end, I have to cheer for the humans. Will you see  Jack The Giant Slayer in theaters, or wait until it’s released on Netflix or Redbox?
