Notorious B.IG.’s daughter, T’yanna Wallace, reportedly posted her boyfriend’s $1 million bond last week after allegedly being involved in a hit-and-run incident that injured three people, including a mother and her young child.
According to multiple reports, Wallace’s longtime boyfriend, Tyshawn Baldwin, was stopped by authorities on Aug. 10 in Queens, New York, after he reportedly parked his 2021 Durango SRT Hellcat in a busy intersection, as well as for having a loud exhaust and dark tinted windows.
The young man initially complied with officers’ instructions, handing over his driver’s license and registration. However, when cops ran his papers, they discovered that his license was suspended and soon ordered him to step out of his car.
Instead, the 28-year-old took off, running his vehicle into a crowd of people, mowing down three — hitting a mother pushing her 2-year-old daughter in a stroller, and a food delivery man. All three suffered severe injuries.
Baldwin was arrested nearly a week later. Judge Scott Dunna ordered a $1 million bond, which was later paid by Wallace less than 24 hours later. Legal documents obtained by the New York Post from Queens Criminal Court show that the business owner put up her $1.5 million Brooklyn home to secure the bond.
Social media users had plenty to say about the matter. Several people were disappointed as many recited lyrics from her father’s rap career that warned of such situations.
“He literally rapped about not wanting her to have to do things like this lmao,” wrote one critic, while another person joked, “That’s her man and she gon stick beside him!”
“Now girl why are u spending your inheritance on a dude?” asked a third user. “Biggie rolling in his grave if he could.” A fourth echoed, “Why you wasting your daddy money doing that?? You should have left him in there! Cause ain’t no way….”
Wallace is the founder of Notoriouss Clothing Boutique, which launched in 2013, and sells merchandise with imagery of the late rap icon who was killed in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles in 1997.
Wallace and Baldwin share an infant child. The suspect was arraigned on 17 criminal charges, including reckless endangerment, unlawfully fleeing a police officer and endangering the welfare of a child.
His defense lawyer, Ken Belkin, briefly spoke to Fox News Digital, stating, “I do want to remind everyone he’s presumed innocent, and there’s more to this story than the NYPD’s version,” before adding, “My client is a good man, who has never been in trouble before.”
Baldwin is due back in court on Oct. 18. If convicted, he faces up to 25 years in prison.
