Hugh Jackman, who only made a cameo appearance in the last X-Men movie, X-Men: First Class, is now in talks to reprise his role in the upcoming X-Men:Days of Future Past movie.

Hollywood reporter has confirms that Jackman is in negotiations to bring back his take on the comic book character Wolverine. X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer isn’t taking any chances with new actors as Professor Charles Xavier or Magnito. Singer announced Monday that Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen will also be reprising there roles.

In the present day, the X-Men were forced to stop a key event from unfolding in order to keep that future from occurring.

Jackson recently wrapped shooting his solo X-men film The Wolverine, the sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
