Chris Brown and ex Karrueche Tran had dinner together mere hours before he partied with Rihanna, according to sources close to the love triangle.
According to one of Tran’s friends, she and Brown met up for dinner on Halloween before they went their separate ways. Brown was later photographed at Rihanna’s Halloween bash.
“[Karrueche] saw Chris on Halloween for a minute and they talked and had some food and caught up,” said the source. “She did her own Halloween thing without Chris and she didn’t want to go party at Greystone with him even though he didn’t care if she went or not. She’s not about to stoop down to anyone’s level and it would have been a whole lot of drama if she was at that party so of course she was cool on it.”
Brown seems to be having a blast with Rihanna but he is still feeling the effects of the infamous incident that ruined their relationship in 2009. On Thursday, a judge ruled that Brown should stay on supervised probation. According to the Huffington Post, there was no word on the outcome of the investigation of Brown’s community service reports. Brown’s probation officer said he “appears to be making a sincere effort to comply with terms and conditions of probation.”
Perhaps this cooperation is a step to redemption for the singer who recently admitted dealing with the public scrutiny stemming from his assault of Rihanna has been quite a task. “Having to get personal opinion back and having to gain personal success back… it’s not all the way back, you know? But it’s one of my most humbling experiences,” he said on MTV’s “This is How I Made It”. “I can’t hate people for making judgment on me or making a decision of liking me or not liking me. All I can do is try to be better as a person, and I’m good with knowing everything isn’t always going to be perfect.”
