Halloween isn’t just for the kids, as a number of celebrities proved while spending the night partying in costume. Chris Brown chose to dress as an Arab terrorist alongside his entourage while attending Rihanna’s Halloween Party, “Ain’t nobody F–king wit my clique!!! #ohb,”he tweeted, linking a picture of his crew in their costumes from Instagram. Of course, some social media users did not find the costume at all humorous, laying into Brown for being culturally insensitive.
Brown’s mother came to her son’s defense however, tweeting “HALLOWEEN IS FOR FUN NOTHING MORE THAN JUST FUN. GET A LIFE PLEASE.”
Other celebs chose much less controversial costumes; Kim Kardashian and Kanye West went as Catwoman and Batman, riding in a Lamborghini Aventador as their batmobile. Kim’s sister Kourtney and her boyfriend Scott Disick completed the bat-family, dressing as Batgirl and Robin. Twilight co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart played it simple, dressing normally while wearing a pair of transparent masks.
Finally, Jessica Simpson and her fiance Eric Johnson celebrated Halloween at home with their daughter Maxwell. Eric donned a Braveheart-inspired outfit, while Jessica showed off her post-pregnancy body win a milk-maid outfit, complete with mini-skirt. Six month old Maxwell was dressed as a chicken in the family photo.
