It’s not too long until the release of Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained, which arrives in US cinemas at Christmas. Granted, we here in the UK have a longer wait than our friends on the other side of the Atlantic (we get it in January), but a new QT film is always worth looking forward to. The trailers released in advance of the film certainly make it look rather good.
There was a time when all of Tarantino’s films seemed to exist in the same movie world and time, but that changed with Inglorious Basterds, what with it being set during World War II and, well, Django Unchained is a western, so it’s unlikely to connect with Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and such like.
