Tyler Perry To Release New Film 'Single Mom's Club'

Tyler Perry is reportedly preparing a new project titled, Single Mom’s Club, a dramedy in which Liongate is slated to distribute.

Single Mom’s Club is based on a group of single mothers from different backgrounds who comes together via an incident at their children’s school. This event leads to the creation of a support group that helps all of them overcome their personal obstacles. Perry, like in all of his films, will be at the head of almost everything including writing, directing, producing and starring.

At this time, there is no information on the casting of the film, but more details will be available when production starts next month in Atlanta.

Single Mom’s Club will possibly be slated for 2013 release date. The actor may add it to his other two films which will hit theaters in 2013, including The Marriage Counselor and We The Peeples.

Besides Single Mom’s Club, Perry will also be featured in Alex Cross, a film which will hit theaters this Friday, what a busy man.

  1. I don’t if people are realizing where and how he is getting his movie ideas from. Don
”t back Down strategically told the story of two mothers from diverse backgrounds who are at odds with their children schools and triumphs in through their personal struggles. So what I am assuming, by far, he is writing a movie with the same concept, spend little on production and get back millions at the box office. This has got to stop and shame on the idiots who are influencing and promoting this mess. It time for him to take a break or better yet a break for ever. We as movie goers or possibly fans of this man for so long deserve better.

  2. Why not do a show call the single Dad’s club. You do have single GREAT!! father’s who were raised by their kids by them self. They should show that sometimes!! I’m sick of the same story!! I love Tyler don’t get me wrong. But It would be great for us to see black men in a better light!!
