Romney Has Lindsay Lohan, Stacey Dash; Obama Has Honey Boo-Boo

Georgia might be considered a “red” state, but it’s refreshing to see that not all self-proclaimed rednecks are aligned behind the red party.

Lindsay Lohan recently expressed her support of Mitt Romney. President Barack Obama has Honey Boo Boo in his corner.

Alana Thompson, the 7-year-old star of the series “Here Comes Honey-Boo-Boo” stopped by “Jimmy Kimmel Live” with her mother, June Shannon. Honey Boo-Boo wrangled the audience’s attention with her restlessness and unexpected outbursts. At one point she yelled, “You better red-neck-ognize!”

The stars talked about nicknames, couponing and the Kardashians (which they said they do not watch). They also talked politics.

Kimmel informed Honey Boo-Boo that former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney said on “Live! With Michael and Kelly” that he preferred “Jersey Shore” starlet Snooki over Honey Boo Boo.  He then asked which candidate she would vote for, that is, if she could vote. Alana announced her support of Obama, or as she put it “Marack Obama.”Also during the interview, June Shannon revealed that much of the money the family has received from their show has gone to a trust fund for all of her children. She also said some money goes to community outreach programs like The UR Brand that advocates for anti-bullying.”You better red-neck-ognize!”

Grant it, in 1979 the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS) – The Mormons did begin to allow black men to hold the priesthood in their church, but why did it take 30+ years for the evasive, unaccountable, and sworn to secrecy top LDS church leaders located in Utah (the headquarters of the LDS Church and host state of Romney's 2002 Winter Olympics), to update The Book of Mormon (the foundation of the teachings of the church) to reflect the change. In mid 2012 the changes were made – was the timing a coincidence or a convienence to influence the outcome of the Romney/Obama US Presidential Election?
