Beyonce Shuts Down Jay-Z’s Last Show, Sends B-Day Wishes to Gwyneth

Beyonce took over the stage during Jay-Z’s final show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York and used the stage time to give her BFF Gwyneth Paltrow a birthday shout out.

The surprise performance had the entire crowd in shock as Jay-Z’s wife strutted across the stage like it was a runway to the beat of her hit “Diva.”

The couple purposely tried to mislead the crowd into thinking Bey wouldn’t be making any appearances this time as Jay performed the couple’s duet hit “03 Bonnie & Clyde” without the assistance of his lovely partner.

Directly after the Beyonce-less performance, the Queen of R&B emerged unto the stage in black leather shorts and a matching Brooklyn Nets cap to go with her husband’s look.

Blue Ivy Carter’s mom and pop were supposed to perform “Crazy in Love” together on stage, but even HOV got caught up in his wife’s amazing dance moves and flawless body.

The Brooklyn native dipped backstage for a few seconds and missed his cue to join his wife back on stage for the saucy number.

After Queen Bey said the line, “Young Hova, y’all know the flow is loco” all her husband could do was realize it was too late and say to himself “Oh sh—I should probably rap here.”

Either way, Beyonce still had the crowd entertained like she always does… even without her modern day Clyde.

Once it was time for the “Dance for You” crooner to leave the stage she received a playful pat on the butt from the “Empire State of Mind” rapper.

“Of course I had to let BK touch the stage in BK – well BKC now,” he joked as he pretended to give Brooklyn his own last name.

A birthday shout out from Beyonce on stage during her surprise performance would be a great gift to anybody, but Blue Ivy’s mommy still made sure she was in attendance at her bestie’s birthday party.

Gwyneth Paltrow hosted her birthday part in the Upper East Side at an Italian eatery called Elio’s Friday night.

Her BFF Beyonce wasn’t even the only face to come through to show her some birthday love.

Sources revealed that just a few minutes after 7:00 pm Steven Speilberg, Kate Capshaw, Jessica Seidnfeld, Chelsea Handler, and Kristen Wig all pulled up to the eatery to celebrate Paltrow’s 40th birthday.

The guest list only got longer as a few celebs showed up fashionably late.

Jake Gyllenhaal, Christy Turlington, Cameron Diaz and more also attended the outing although the arrived more than two hours later than everyone else.

Chris Martin, the birthday girl’s husband, was also there along with the singer’s mother Blythe Danner.

Beyonce’s close friend admitted that although she was worried at first about officially becoming 40-years-old on September 27, once the day actually came she felt excited to move on to the next phase in her life.
