Friday, October 5th, 2012 marked the 50th anniversary of James Bond on film. That’s right, half a century ago, Sean Connery walked into a gambling casino in a cream-colored tuxedo and defined the new standard for cinematic cool: “Bond. James Bond.”
Dr. No (1962) was the beginning of many now-famous Bond traditions, none more famous than the opening theme song. So, what better way to celebrate James’ birthday with the release of the newest theme, Adele’s “Skyfall”?
Earlier this week, we posted a leaked preview of the theme, but now we have the full, 4 minute and 46 second song. Check out this YouTube version, lyrics included.
