Bobbi Kristina, daughter of iconic vocalist Whitney Houston, was allegedly involved in a serious car accident early Monday morning. According to Alpharetta, GA police, a black 2012 Camero registered to Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend Nick Gordon was parked out front of the couples’ apartment mangled with hazard lights flashing. TMZ reported that Gordon was driving with Bobbi Kristina riding passenger, and that no one was injured in the accident which destroyed the front end of the car.
Though the vehicle’s front right tire was missing, bumper torn off and airbags were deployed, it managed to find its way back to the couples’ apartment. Police were responding to a separate noise complaint when they spotted the suspicious vehicle flashing and the accident is currently under investigation. Bobbi Kristina’s lawyer told CNN reporters that she was no where near the scene, but conflicting stories claim that she and her boyfriend were seen arguing in the car early Monday morning.
This dramatic turn of events is conveniently making headlines before the promotion of Bobbi Kristina’s new Lifetime reality television show: “The Houstons: On Our Own.” The show is slated to debut October 24 at 9PM. The family has had a trying year to say the least, rocked by the passing of Whitney Houston, and surely can do without any negative press. However, all press works to promote a reality show…and the family is anxious to showcase their latest project.
