We’ve gotten used to pictures of Beyonce and Jay-Z jetting around the world with daughter Blue Ivy in tow, but the pair were enjoying a fun night out by themselves—and a bunch of their closest friends—on Sunday at the Summer Ends With D’USSE Cognac Cocktails celebration at La Marina Restaurant Bar Beach Lounge in New York City.
Beyonce wore a sexy cleavage-baring leopard print Roberty Cavalli dress—and she appeared to be indulging in some of those cognac cocktails as she sat and drank with friends while holding a brand glass.
As for Jay-Z, he was out on the terrace, puffing on a cigar with Swizz Beatz—who is also a new father of two-year-old son Egypt with wife Alicia Keys—and Memphis Bleek. We wonder how much Beyonce lets him puff on the cigar at home in the vicinity of Blue Ivy.
On her feet, Beyonce wore black suede shows with golden platforms. While she has grown accustomed to high heels, the “Love on Top” singer recently told People that she’s been sporting more sensible shoes of late.
“I never thought there would be a day when I wouldn’t wear heels,” she said. “Now that I have a child, I walk around holding her all day, I’m buying loafers and oxfords. I love them because they’re comfortable, and shorter heels too.”
And she said her husband kinda likes the new Bey.
“[Jay-Z] loves it when I wear flat shoes, which is surprising—he never saw me in flats before!” she said. “He likes me more natural—just relaxed, natural me.”

Just last week, Bey and Jay were rubbing elbows with the most powerful man in the world, as they raised $4 million for President Obama in a fundraiser at Jay’Z’s 40/40 club—where they posed for a hilarious picture with the president that featured the three of them brushing dirt off their shoulders, a reference to the hit Jay-Z song.
