Oprah Winfrey To Continue Ratings Rise With Evelyn Lozada

A new television series called Fix My Life has been added to the Oprah Winfrey Network’s programming and will make its premiere this weekend by trying to help Basketball Wife Evelyn Lozada turn her life around.

The show will be hosted by life coach Iyanla Vanzant, who will be assisting each guest through some very challenging moments in their life.

The premiere episode is sure to be a testament to Vanzant’s life coach skills as she will be reaching out to one of the most infamous of all the Basketball Wives.

Evelyn Lozada was known for her foul language, jumping over tables, and delivering a beat down to anyone who looked at her funny.

The inspirational speaker and television personality will attempt to change all that by having Lozada on the program.

Surprisingly, this life coach could sense the dangers in Lozada’s marriage before it even officially turned to shambles.

In the middle of filming for the new show, news broke out that Lozada’s husband, NFL star Chad Johnson, had head butt his estranged wife which drove her to file for a divorce.

In a preview clip Vanzant was shown talking to the reality star before the incident about her marriage saying, “When I think about your marriage, what comes up for me is ‘Evelyn you’re in trouble girl,’” the famous life coach told the 36-year-old from Brooklyn. “Do you and the man you married have a relationship? Where is he? Why isn’t he here? I’m concerned because he is the head of your household. So if you shift out of the craziness he loves [you’ll be walking down two different paths].”

“Fix My Life” is one of the new programs that the network expects to help bring in more ratings while still remaining true to what OWN is all about.

Earlier this week Oprah announced that her once struggling network has finally “made the pivot.”

The network’s struggles have been well documented, and Oprah believes her reputation raised the expectations for the network to heights that were unreachable on her own.

Last summer, however, the former queen of daytime television took over as CEO for the network and took control of programming.

One of the network’s best programs is, of course, “Oprah’s Next Chapter” which features the journalism icon doing what she does best; conducting ground breaking interviews with the prevalent personalities in today’s society.

From an emotional interview with Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, to an inspiring sit down with one of America’s newest sweethearts, Gabby Douglas, “Oprah’s Next Chapter” has been reigning in tons of viewers.

While she is excited to finally see her network getting the high ratings it deserves, Oprah is keeping busy for now in New Orleans where is she filming “The Butler.” The new movie focuses on the life of Eugene Allen, the White House butler who served under eight presidents, and will be the first film for Oprah since “Beloved” in 1998.
