Terrance Howard Lands New Role In 'A Girl and a Gun' Film

Terrance Howard Stars Opposite Colin Farrel To Play Brutal Crime Lord In 'Dead Man Down'

Terrence Howard has signed on to star in upcoming film A Girl and a Gun.

According to Deadline, “the Oscar nominee will play Ian, a hustler with big Hollywood dreams who’s going nowhere fast until he intervenes in a mugging and get pulled in to a world of intrigue.”

A Girl and a Gun will also star Killer Joe’s Juno Temple, Christopher Walken and Luis Guzmán, and Filip Jan Rymsza will direct from a script that he wrote.

Howard will soon be seen on film starring in Kristen Stewart adaptation On the Road. He also appeared on Broadway in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. In the past, the actor received an Oscar nomination for Hustle and Flow and his many upcoming films include Lullaby, Dead Man Down, Fellini Black and White, and Lee Daniels’ The Butler.

Filming on A Girl and a Gun is set to begin this fall.
