Nicki Minaj is the woman of a thousand wigs. Or at least that’s what it seems like. Minaj has so many wigs for her performances that she has demanded organizers at the V Festival in England provide a Winnebago to hold all of them.
The Right By My Side singer, known for her vast collection of crazy, technicolor wigs, has ordered a Winnebago to house her hairpieces backstage in the Virgin Media Louder Lounge hospitality area, which festival organizers have now dubbed Nicki’s Wiggy-bago.A source said Nicki also asked that the bus be fully equipped with “at least 20 wig stands, 10 cans of hairspray, 300 hair pins, five combs, spare wig caps, and a 360 degree mirror.”Minaj has said wearing so many wigs makes her feel like a different person every day.“Sometimes I wake up in the morning and think, ‘Today’s high time to wear a wig’ or ‘It’s my bob hair day,’” she said.V Festival, which runs on August 18 and 19 across two sites in Essex and Staffordshire, is also set to play host to The Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, Sir Tom Jones, Snow Patrol, Ed Sheeran, Tinie Tempah, Example and Olly Murs.
