Erika Alexander may not be trying to join a “Living Single” reboot, but she’s setting her sights on helping other Black creators get their projects off the ground.

Alexander, who most recently starred in Jordan Peele’s Oscar-nominatedGet Out,” is starting the company called Color Farm with ex-Google exec Ben Arnon, according to a report from Deadline.

Diverse creators will be able to create various film, TV and digital projects with the platform, which already has two features in the pipeline. One is an unnamed Lionsgate Entertainment horror/thriller film and the other is focused on the Boys Choir of Harlem. Alexander has writing credits on both.

She told “The Breakfast Club” Thursday, March 22 that Color Farm is the most recent thing she’s most proud of.

“One of the reasons I created it was because of the lack of opportunities for Black women and brown women but also for Black people overall and certainly for differently abled people, [the] elderly,” Alexander said. “We don’t see those people at all. It’s like they don’t exist. So I did that in hopes that I could change things … so I’m really passionate about doing it.”
