Universal Pictures continues to market for The Bourne Legacy’s August release date. The studio has dropped a brand new international poster for the film via the world wide web.
Starring Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Albert Finney, Joan Allen, Scott Glenn, Stacy Keach and Oscar Isaac, The Bourne Legacy hits theaters on August 10th.
The narrative creator behind the Bourne film series, director Tony Gilroy, takes the director’s position again for the next chapter of the hugely popular espionage franchise that has accumulated almost $1 billion at the global box office.
The writer/director and his brother Dan Gilroy expand the “Bourne” universe with this latest screenplay, by introducing a new hero (Jeremy Renner) whose life-or-death stakes have been triggered by the events of the first three films.
No word whether Matt Damon will make a surprise appearence in the movie but producer Frank Marshall recently revealed that his “dream” is for Renner and Damon to team-up in a future Bourne film.
Universal is bringing The Bourne Legacy to theaters everywhere in August of this summer.
