Arsenio Hall Officially Locks Down Late Night Show Hosting Job

Get ready to see pumping fists and hearing the still-popular a “Woof Woof Woof Woof” barking again, because Arsenio Hall is returning to late-night TV. Twenty years after his debut on his first show titled Arsenio Hall, the 56-year-old comedian will attempt a comeback with another syndicated late night show.

In an exclusive interview with Nancy O’Dell, the recent Celebrity Apprentice winner revealed and confirmed that he is indeed returning to late night TV.

“In the end I’m a comic, and nothing fits the talk-show mode like a stand-up comic,” Hall said in the interview today. Confident that there is enough room in the late night space he added: “I know there are a lot of shows, but I think there’s a space for my show.”

Hall is partnering with CBS Television Distribution and Tribune Co., which will broadcast the show at 11 p.m. on 17 TV stations, which includes WGN-TV in Chicago and KTLA-TV in Los Angeles.

The new show is slated to air in September of 2013.
