Boxing great Evander Holyfield reportedly sold his massive Georgia mansion for $7.5 million back in March, but it’s still only half of the amount that he owed the bank for the house, according to a report on TMZ.
In addition, Holyfield owes more than $200,000 in back taxes to the federal government.
Holyfield’s house outside Atlanta has long drawn attention for its size and lavishness, with a swimming pool that looks like a small lake and a facade that could be mistaken for a state capital building. The house sits on 23 acres and is a mind-boggling 54,000 square feet.
No word on who bought it.
